May's Featured S.W.A.T. Girl!

Please join us in congratulating

May's S.W.A.T. Girl!!

Lee-Anne

I am very honored to be a S.W.A.T. Girl for May 2013.
Thank you for having me!

Hi, my name is Lee-Anne Thornton and I'm known in the online scrapbooking world as Scrapperleeanne. I am married to my biggest fan Rick and have three children Brandon 28, Shannon 25, and Clayton 13. My youngest is still at home but my two older kids are married and have left the nest.

We wanted to get to know Lee-Anne so we asked her a few questions:
1. How long have you been scrapping and why do you love it?
I started scrapbooking back in 2002 when a friend of mine asked me to go to a "crop". I was a cross stitcher and didn't have the slightest idea what she was talking about. Back then, it was all about stickers but it has evolved into so much more the last few years. It really became a passion when I starting attending scrapbooking conventions, retreats and last year a scrapbooking cruise to Hawaii. It has just been the last two years that I have really taken this passion to the next level and started getting published and being on some design teams and getting to know such lovely, creative people that share the same passion.

2. What are you favorite tools and manufactures?

My three favourite tools are my Silhouette Cameo, my ATG gun and my Making Memories Paper Trimmer.....I love all the manufacturers as long as they have pretty papers.

3. How do you usually get started with a layout?

The photo is usually my starting point and I go from there. I love colour, layers and texture but most of my layouts are clean with bright colours.
Next we asked her to share a few of her
favorite projects and here they are:
Make sure you stop by to see Lee-Anne's Blog!
Make sure you come back for Drill #7 I can't wait to see what
Lee-Anne has in store for us this Saturday!
